There are only three months left in 2024\u2014the final stretch. I have a million projects, so often I switch which ones I\u2019m working on. I\u2019m hoping not to do that here, though. This will put me over 130,000 words for the year\u201410k more than my initial goal in January.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"407\" height=\"65\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXe2SEIFyrBemF36LoQLQb6ghBScaPT5XyxeasLtxSBtXGpG7ofFP1ae8HvuSRRCKqTT7IIESO72m_dMm_fNzZBn3XEqkZizPte4GTDU6Lahm3v5X7xqUhrz3xe7TyQY7kE-S_PFvBTaIw7ftZNC1xbF_u-3?key=Ycd5mzOSa_5wkGKpesfyoQ\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Draft and Edit Man\u2019s Best Friend. <\/strong>I\u2019ll be offering this short novella when new members subscribe to my newsletter, which will be available at the end of the month. Keep an eye out! This first newsletter on November 1st will also include a link to this story.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Edit Her Demons. <\/strong>I\u2019m about 1\/3 of the way through editing Her Demons: The Witch\u2019s Curse. I\u2019ve been editing it on and off, but I\u2019d like to actually put a real dent in it this quarter. Maybe even finish it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Outline Strange Enough. <\/strong>Usually, I\u2019d be aiming for 50,000 in November, but this November I\u2019d just like to get through as much of my draft of Strange Enough as I can.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reading<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to read three books by the end of the quarter. Specifically, they are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/51190882-the-empress-of-salt-and-fortune\" title=\"\"><em>The Empress of Salt<\/em> <em>and Fortune<\/em><\/a> by Nghi Vo (finished on October 17th, 2024)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/60774117-broken-sky\"><em>Broken Sky<\/em><\/a> by Morgan K. Bell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/60531406-tress-of-the-emerald-sea\"><em>Tress of the Emerald Sea<\/em><\/a> by Brandon Sanderson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Website and Social Media<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Post mindfully and often. <\/strong>With all the things going on with a particular social media website, I\u2019m re-evaluating my goals here. I\u2019m only dedicating to posting often, though I\u2019m not sure where. Check out my socials <a href=\"http:\/\/izzyking.com\/index.php\/about\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start Newsletter. <\/strong>I\u2019m planning to release my first newsletter on November 1st, 2024. I need to finish <em>Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/em> to go along with it. The form to sign up for the newsletter will go up as soon as the story is finished.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Blog weekly. <\/strong>I want to post a blog post on Sunday every week. I did so well with this in the beginning of the year, and then I fell off. I\u2019m going to try to get a backlog going so I don\u2019t feel overwhelmed with the schedule.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s it! Those are my goals. I\u2019m going to try to do a post at the end of each month to talk about how I did with my goals.
